Grain Storage Insecticides
REACTIONARY GRAIN PROTECTANT
Centynal™ Synergized Insecticide

Active ingredients: deltamethrin 1.2%, piperonyl butoxide 33.3%
Two active ingredients for faster knockdown and reduced infestation rebound
Apply to the grain stream, as an empty-bin treatment or as a barrier perimeter treatment
Labeled for barley, corn, oats, popcorn, rice, rye, sorghum (milo) and wheat
Grain-stream rate: 35.6 fl oz per 1,000 bu of corn or 38 fl oz per 1,000 bu of wheat in 3–5 gal of diluent (see label for other grains)
Tank-mix compatible; CODEX approved for cereal grains
Targets Indian meal moth, sawtoothed grain beetle, red flour beetle, rice weevil, maize weevil, lesser grain borer and other labeled pests
Available in: 2 x 2.5-gallon case
Always read and follow label directions.
PREVENTATIVE INSECT GROWTH REGULATOR
Diacon®-D IGR
Dry, ready-to-use IGR – ideal where water is scarce. Diacon-D stops stored product insects by preventing larvae from maturing into reproducing adults, breaking the life cycle for long-term protection of stored grain, seed and feed with no mixing required.
Active ingredient: (S)-methoprene 0.8%
Labeled for all stored grains, feeds and seeds, including commodities for human and animal consumption
Apply to the grain stream at 8–10 lb per 1,000 bu, or top-dress at 8 lb per 1,000 sq ft of grain surface
Empty-premises treatment at 1.5 oz per 1,000 sq ft; can also be mixed into animal feed (see label)
CODEX approved
Controls almond moth, Indian meal moth, lesser grain borer, sawtoothed grain beetle, merchant grain beetle, and red and confused flour beetles
Available in: 40-lb box
Always read and follow label directions.
FULL-CONTROL GRAIN PROTECTANT
Gravista® Insecticide
Beat insects with the power of three. Gravista combines an adulticide, an insect growth regulator (IGR) and a synergist to kill labeled insects and break their life cycles – full control in one jug, with no tank mixing.
Active ingredients: deltamethrin 1.20%, (S)-methoprene 2.85%, piperonyl butoxide 33.30%
Long-term residual control that reduces infestation rebound and repeat treatments
On-grain, empty-bin, warehouse and perimeter treatment
Labeled for barley, corn, oats, popcorn, rice, rye, sorghum (milo) and wheat
Grain-stream rate: 35.6 fl oz per 1,000 bu of corn or 38 fl oz per 1,000 bu of wheat in 3–5 gal of diluent (see label for other grains)
Dilutable with water or dust-controlling oils; CODEX approved for cereal grains
Targets Indian meal moth, sawtoothed grain beetle, red flour beetle, rice weevil, maize weevil, lesser grain borer and other labeled pests
Available in: 10 x 1-quart case (pre-bin size) or 2 x 2.5-gallon case
Always read and follow label directions.
FULL-CONTROL GRAIN PROTECTANT – DRY
Gravista®-D Insecticide
Dual-purpose protection in a dry formulation. Gravista-D combines a synergized adulticide with an insect growth regulator in a ready-to-use dry product – no water or mixing needed – to kill stored grain insects and break their life cycles.
Active ingredients: deltamethrin 0.26%, (S)-methoprene 0.64%, piperonyl butoxide 7.47%
Ready to use, no water needed; non-restricted use
Apply to the grain stream at 11 lb per 1,000 bu
Empty-bin and hard-surface treatment at 13 oz per 1,000 sq ft
Labeled for sorghum (milo), corn, popcorn, barley, oats, rice, rye and wheat
CODEX approved for cereal grains
Targets Indian meal moth, sawtoothed grain beetle, red flour beetle, rice weevil, maize weevil and other labeled pests
Available in: 44-lb box
Always read and follow label directions.

Fire Ant Baits
FIRE ANT BAIT
Extinguish® Professional Fire Ant Bait
Long-lasting colony control for farm and pasture. Extinguish Professional uses the insect growth regulator (S)-methoprene. Worker ants carry the bait back to the colony, where it sterilizes the queen and stops new workers from developing, so the mound dies out without relocating.
Active ingredient: (S)-methoprene 0.5%
Labeled for agricultural use, including cropland, pasture and rangeland, plus turf, landscapes, golf courses, parks and sod farms
Broadcast at 1–1.5 lb per acre, or treat individual mounds with 3–5 tablespoons
Slower acting but long lasting – one application per year is often enough
Apply when ants are actively foraging and no rain is expected
Available in: 25-lb bag
Always read and follow label directions.
FIRE ANT BAIT
Extinguish® Plus Fire Ant Bait
Fast-acting kill plus long-lasting colony control. Extinguish Plus pairs hydramethylnon, a fast-acting bait toxicant, with the insect growth regulator (S)-methoprene, which sterilizes the queen to prevent the colony from rebounding.
Active ingredients: hydramethylnon 0.36%, (S)-methoprene 0.25%
Dual action: visible results in about 2–4 weeks, with control that lasts for months
Labeled for pasture and rangeland in select states, plus turf, landscapes, nurseries, sod farms and non-crop areas
Broadcast or individual mound treatment
Not for use on food crops
Available in: 8 x 1.5-lb shaker jugs, 4 x 4.5-lb jugs or 25-lb bag
Always read and follow label directions. State restrictions apply; see label.
FIRE ANT BAIT
ProBait® Formulation for Professionals
Fast queen kill for fire ant control. ProBait uses hydramethylnon in an attractive bait that worker ants carry back to the colony and feed to the queen, eliminating the mound from the inside out.
Active ingredient: hydramethylnon 0.73%
Controls imported and native fire ants, harvester ants, bigheaded ants and Argentine ants
Broadcast at 1–1.5 lb per acre for fire ants, or apply 2–5 level tablespoons around individual mounds
Labeled for lawns, landscapes, golf courses, parks, roadsides and other non-crop areas, plus grounds around poultry houses, corrals and animal holding areas
Relatively fast control, typically within 2–6 weeks
Not for use on food crops or on pasture that supports food or feed animals
Available in: 25-lb bag
Always read and follow label directions.
